College Interaction In Aluva Turns Memorable As Premalu Stars Naslen And Mamitha Engage With Fans
Premalu enjoyed a successful run in its initial three days, raking in an estimated Rs 5.50 crores in net collections in India.

Promising actors Naslen and Mamitha Baiju have made a significant impact at the box office with their latest release, Premalu, garnering positive reviews from audiences. Within the first four days of its release, the film surpassed the Rs 7 crore milestone, indicating its strong performance and success at the box office. Fans of the film Premalu will always remember the character JK, played by the talented actor Shyam Mohan. Despite having appeared in several films and web series previously, Premalu provided a significant breakthrough for Shyam Mohan.

During a college interaction in Aluva, when the stars of Premalu met with students, Shyam humorously remarked, “Call me Sir, call me Cheta wherever you go," adding his trademark JK or “Just kidding" for good measure.

The students enthusiastically cheered in response to Shyam’s words. Alongside him, the film’s lead actor Naslen, as well as actors Akhila Bhargavan, Sangeet Pratap and others, graced the stage with their presence.

Premalu, featuring Naslen and Mamitha in the lead roles, has been produced by Dilish Pothan, Fahadh Faasil and Shyam Pushkaran under the banner of Bhavana Studios. Alongside Naslen and Mamitha, Altaf Salim and Meenakshi Ravindran also star in the film. The screenplay for the film has been penned by Girish AD and Kiran Josi.

According to reports, Premalu enjoyed a successful run in its initial three days, raking in an estimated Rs 5.50 crores in net collections in India. On the fourth day, the film sustained its impressive performance, garnering around Rs 1.60 crores (early estimates). Consequently, the cumulative box office collections for Premalu over the four days reached an impressive figure.

On day 1, the film managed to earn Rs 90 lakhs, followed by a substantial increase on day 2, with Premalu minting Rs 1.90 crores on Saturday. The highest-grossing day for the film was Sunday, with collections amounting to Rs 2.70 crores. On Monday, the Naslen starrer is estimated to have collected Rs 1.60 crores.
