Conor Kennedy, the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr, is engaged to Brazilian singer Giulia Be. Once known for dating pop icon Taylor Swift, Kennedy confirmed his engagement on social media with a string of romantic pictures and a video of the couple. “Easiest yes of all time,” the joint Instagram post read. While the pictures seem to have been captured right at the time of Kennedy’s dreamy proposal, the video shows the model getting overwhelmed and expressing her emotions.
“I literally can’t believe this. I’m dreaming. This is a dream, This is a dream. I’m so happy. This is the best day ever, and I love that we’re both sweaty after work and gross and disgusting. It’s perfect,” she says in the video as they share a romantic moment in a dark room with a lot of candles.
The video also shows Giulia breaking into the Brazilian funk celebration dance before she finally shows her ring to the camera. Following their engagement pictures, a snap also shows their matching wrist tattoos. While fans flooded the post with congratulatory messages for the couple, their relatives also sent love and blessings on social media.
According to Page Six, Conor, the son of the late Mary Richardson Kennedy and the grandson of the US presidential candidate, proposed his partner of two years with a Tiffany & Co. ring.
