In yet another major international collaboration, Diljit Dosanjh has teased fans with a glimpse of his new song with American rapper NLE Choppa. On Thursday, the singer-cum-actor unveiled the teaser of his much-awaited song on Instagram. Titled Muhammad Ali, the song is scheduled to release on July 26.

FYI, NLE Chappa is popular among international music lovers for his hit songs like Capo, Walk Em Down, Go Stupid and Narrow Road. The upcoming song Muhammad Ali marks his first partnership with a Punjabi musician. Given Diljit Dosanjh’s infectious energy and NLE Choppa’s raw talent, Muhammad Ali is poised to become another chart-buster, transcending linguistic barriers to garner millions of views. The song is another addition to Diljit’s previous trailblazing international collaborations including American rapper Saweetie, Australian singer-songwriter Sia and renowned singer Ed Sheeran.
Besides the musical number, Diljit Dosanjh is also preparing for his upcoming exciting projects including the Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3. Recently, the singer unveiled the first poster of the film and delighted his fans by announcing its release date. Sharing a motion poster for Sardaar Ji 3 on Instagram, he wrote, “SARDAAR JI 3 Releasing Worldwide 27th June 2025.” The intriguing poster showcases Diljit’s shadow while an audio clip plays in the background. In the audio, Diljit can be heard correcting someone who calls him “Sardaar” instead of “Sardaar Ji.”
The first installment of the Sardaar franchise was released in 2015. Besides Diljit Dosanjh, Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa also starred in the film, directed by Rohit Jugraj. Given its success, the makers went on to release Sardaar Ji 2 in 2016 which has Diljit playing three different roles. The second instalment of the film also starred Monica Gill and Sonam Bajwa.
Diljit Dosanjh is currently on a roll with back-to-back hit projects like Jatt & Juliet 3 and Imtiaz Ali’s successful biographical drama, Amar Singh Chamkila. The singer’s international music shows and performance at Coachella 2024 adds to his achievements this year.
Speaking on his gradual success in the industry, Diljit Dosanjh, during a promotional event for Jatt and Juliet 3, shared, “It’s not overnight fame. You can never make it happen in one day. I have been in the industry for almost 22 years and have worked day and night to stand where I am today. This cost me a lot of things, I couldn’t give my family much time. All those years of hard work have now paid rich dividends, but I have more things planned. Just wait and watch.”
