Eid 2022: Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Others Send Wishes To Their Fans

Muslim community across the country is celebrating the festival of Eid today i.e on May 3. The festival marks the end of what is considered the holiest month for Muslims in a year, Ramadan. As people celebrate the festival by sending wishes to others, how can our Bollywood stars not send love to their fans on this auspicious day?.

Several Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, and Huma Qureshi among others took to their respective social media handles and wished fans on the occasion of Eid.

Amitabh Bachchan was among the first ones to Tweet a wish for fans on Eid. The 79-year-old actor kept it simple and short as he dropped a picture that read Eid Mubarak. Raveena Tandon wished Eid Mubarak to fans as she dropped a photo of the moon. The KGF: Chapter 2 actress also shared another picture in which she was seen dressed in a traditional green suit. Akshay Kumar also wrote in Hindi, “Eid Mubarak everyone, this day will bring happiness in lives of us all.” Anupam Kher, Ajay Devgn, Priyanka Chopra, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ram Madhavan among others also sent wishes to their fans.

Saqib Saleem also dropped a picture with his sister Huma Qureshi on social media and sent Eid wishes to his fans. “I am glad to have my friends and family around this year. Eid is also the break I was hoping for from back-to-back shoots. There’s so much happening in the world and there’s so much we should be grateful for.  Eid Mubarak. I wish happiness to everyone celebrating Eid,” he said.

Meanwhile, several other celebrities also talked about their Eid plans. Music composer Tanishk Bagchi, who has a modern twist to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 title track shared, “All festivals are as auspicious and filled with lights and love for me. Eid is a one-of-a-kind festival and I love visiting my close friends savouring the delicacies, bonding over music, culture and more. Eid is always special and beloved and most celebrated.”

Actress Zahrah Khan said, “Well! Eid is a festival that is celebrated with utmost grace and joyful way in our family. The exchange of gifts, eidi from elders, family get together ks something I look forward to every year. Unfortunately this year I won’t be home to celebrate it with my loved ones as I am travelling.”

“Every year I am as excited for Eid as I am for Christmas. Not much of a difference as Eid too is an auspicious festival filled with joy, laughter and amazing food to relish. I too visit my Muslim friends to enjoy the iftar party and the prayers offered being known to their culture and traditions,” said singer Stebin Ben.

Singers Sukriti Kakar and Prakriti Kakar also talked about their Eid plans and said, “We think that’s the beauty of being an Indian you get to celebrate it all without any religion, cultural boundaries. As for us, we love celebrating Eid with our friends going to their places relishing the meal and the vibe oh it’s all so amazing.”
