Action, entertainment and thrill. Well, that’s what the makers of Force 2 hope to offer the viewers with their latest offering. And with John returning as the police officer Yashvardhan, the film is expected to also show what passion for work, and hostility and hatred for wrongdoers is all about.
For the uninitiated, John teams up with the Indian Research and Analysis (RAW) team to hunt down the film’s villain, played by Tahir Raj Bhasin.
Sonakshi Sinha, the new addition to the film’s cast, plays John’s boss KK. With Sonakshi performing tough stunts, she would also be shattering stereotypes and put forth a woman who is both resilient and empowered.
Directed by Abhinay Deo, Force 2 is a sequel of the 2011 release Force. However, unlike its prequel which was an official remake of a South Indian film, this remains.
While both John and Sonakshi feel Force 2 is the first legitimate and relevant film after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to demonetise Rs 500 and 1,000 currency notes, whether it would also be a game-changing film, is what only the viewers will decide.
