Krushna Abhishek took to his Instagram handle on Thursday and shared a throwback video in which he was seen appearing on the talk show, ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’ with his ‘mama’ Govinda. The show was hosted by actor Suresh Oberoi and Govinda was also joined on it by his wife Sunita Ahuja.
The video began with Krushna dancing with Govinda on the popular track ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’. The Kapil Sharma Show fame thanked his uncle by saying, “Mere lie mama ne mannat na maangi hoti to mai aaj yaha khada hi nahi hota (If my uncle had not prayed for me, I would not have been standing here today).”
Following this, Suresh recalled Govinda had vowed to take Krushna to Vaishno Devi after his birth. “Apni behen ke lie mannat maangi thi inhone ki agar unhe beta hoga to apne kaandhe pe uthakar unko Vaishno Devi le kar jaunga. (He had made a vow to his sister that if she had a son, he would carry him on his shoulders and take him to Vaishno Devi),” Oberoi mentioned.
Govinda shed light on the incident and shared, “Ye hua to har taraf khushi fail gayi… Mai 2-3 saal din raat kaam karta reh gaya. Ek din maine kaha mannat to leli, bacha bhi mil gaya sister ko, mai gaya nhi mata rani ke pas mujhe paap lagega (Krushna was born and there was happiness all around in our home. I kept working day and night for 2-3 years. One day I said, I have vowed to my sister, a child is also born, but I did not go to Vaishno Devi).”
“Tab tak ye 3-4 saal ka ho gaya. Inko jab maine kandhe pe chadhaya Vaishno Devi me aur saamne pahadi dekhi to mai baithne laga. Waha kayi bhakt aye the unhone mujhe support dia (By then Krushna was 3-4 years old. I made him sit on my shoulders, and looked at Vaishno Devi and saw the mountains in front of me. There was a miracle, as many devotees present there supported me),” the actor added.
In the caption of his post, Krushna expressed love for his mama and wrote, “My first appearance on T v ❤️ This was #jeena isika naam hai . With mama made a surprise entry for him ❤️ mein unki mannat se born hua hun he had taken a mannat in Jammu vaishno Devi for his sister my mom to conceive and I was born ❤️ love u mama.”
Krushna Abhishek and Govinda’s rift is not unknown and has been going on for over eight years. The two have not been on talking terms. Krushna had also skipped The Kapil Sharma Show in the past whenever Govinda was invited as a guest.
However, when Krushna’s sister Arti got married to Dipak Chauhan in April this year, her actor-uncle Govinda graced the ceremony. While everyone was unsure about Govinda attending Arti’s wedding especially after he skipped the TV star’s Haldi, Sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies, the actor attended the wedding reception and surprised all.
Krushna Abhishek also got emotional as he talked about Govinda attending Arti’s wedding. “Maama aaye bahut khushi hui. I was so happy to see him. Wo dil ki baat hai. Humara emotional connect hai,” he said.
