Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi have started the shooting of Jolly LLB 3. Recently the actor announced on his social media along with a fun video. Well, now a report is coming in that Huma Qureshi, who was also part of Jolly LLB 2, has joined the cast. Pinkvilla has exclusively reported saying that she will begin the shoot.
Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that Huma Qureshi, who portrayed the character of Pushpa Mishra in the 2017 film Jolly LLB 2, has now come on board for Jolly LLB 3. Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, set to play the two Jollys, have already commenced shooting for the film in Rajasthan. A source revealed to Pinkvilla, “Huma Qureshi will be joining the cast of Jolly LLB 3. She is traveling to Ajmer today to begin filming for the project.”
Sharing the announcement video, Akshay wrote, “Ab original kaun aur duplicate kaun, yeh toh pata nahi. But this sure is going to be a jolly good ride !! Stay with us. Jai Mahakaal .”
In the clip, Akshay and Arshad were seen dressed in black robes. It began with Arshad warning everyone to beware of “Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly BA LLB Duplicate”. Following this, Akshay was seen introducing himself as the “original” Jolly. The video ended with a glimpse of Saurabh Shukla.
The first Jolly LLB film was released in 2013. Its sequel hit theatres in 2017. The first film featured Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. In the sequel, Akshay Kumar replaced Arshad Warsi. He was also joined by Huma Qureshi.
Reportedly, in the third instalment, Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi will be seen at loggerheads whereas, Saurabh Shukla will reprise his role as a judge. “It’s basically Jolly vs. Jolly, and the entire cast is excited to start shooting for this ambitious film for the Jolly LLB franchise. The team is still contemplating two titles titled Jolly LLB 3 or Jolly vs. Jolly, and a call on the same will be taken closer to the announcement,” a source previously told Pinkvilla.
