Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, remembered him on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. A festival that celebrates the special bond between brothers and sisters was marked across the country on Monday, August 19. Celebrities also took part in the festivities through family gatherings and social media posts. At the same time, Shweta posted a heartwarming video of Sushant on Instagram and reflected on his journey. The throwback clip shows the late actor speaking about his ambition to become a good actor and a good person, followed by short videos of his loving moments with fans.
“It is hard to become a good artist and even harder to be a good person. I’d like to be both before I leave,” he says.
“Happy Rakhshabandhan my dear brother, you were not only a great artist but a great human to begin with. Look you have filled so many hearts with so much love. I wish to to do the same and follow on your footsteps of spreading love and joy in the world,” Shweta wrote in the caption, who also speaks fondly of her brother in the video.

Notably, Shweta often posts videos and pictures of Sushant Singh Rajput. Recently, in June this year, Shweta and her family performed a puja to observe his fourth death anniversary. The ceremony was held at the family’s residence amid the gathering of close friends and family members who gathered to pay tribute to the late star.
