Kamal Haasan starrer and much-anticipated film Indian 2, directed by S Shankar, is currently in its post-production stage. It is expected to be released worldwide on July 12, 2024, in theatres. Meanwhile, the makers have surprised the viewers and dropped a lyrical video song titled Kadharalz. The song was released yesterday and is currently going viral.
The music and vocals for the song are given by Anirudh Ravichander. While the lyrics are penned by Rokesh, The 4-minute, 3-second song has now garnered 1,862,431 views on YouTube. Take a look at the video:

Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan, has garnered attention since its announcement in 2018. The filming started in 2019. The picture was put on hold for years due to a variety of factors, including budget overruns and a sad on-set accident that resulted in the death of a staff member.
Furthermore, the COVID-19 epidemic created significant delays in the project. Later, the shooting was postponed owing to a disagreement between Lyca Productions and the film’s director S. Shankar.

In the sequel to Indian (1996), Kamal Haasan reprises his role as Senapathy, an ageing freedom fighter turned vigilante who fights against corruption, with Siddharth, S. J. Suryah, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Vivek, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gulshan Grover, Samuthirakani, and Nedumudi Venu in the ensemble cast.

Kamal Haasan was last seen in the action-thriller film Vikram. The film is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Raaj Kamal Films International. The film stars Kamal Haasan in the titular role, alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram and Gayathrie.
