Jimin’s Latest Track Who Breaks Records, Debuts At Number 14 On Billboard
BTS’ Jimin is grabbing the attention of ARMYs as his new single, Who, landed at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

BTS members, except Jin, are currently on a hiatus due to their military service, but their music continues to shatter records and make headlines. Among them, Jimin is grabbing attention of ARMYs as his new single, Who, landed at number 14 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. What’s more exciting, this is South Korean idol’s sixth solo entry on this prestigious list. Despite minimal promotion and a pre-recorded performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which he shot before his enlistment, the song still managed to break records.

The track is also Jimin’s second highest solo debut, following Like Crazy, which reached number 1 spot in 2023. Interestingly, the singer has also become the second BTS member to reach the top spot, following Jungkook. This makes BTS the first group with multiple members to reach the top of both solo and group rankings. According to Billboard, while the newly released single is generating a lot of buzz among fans, his album Muse debuted at number 1 position on both the Global 200 and Global Excluding US charts.

Other than Billboard, when Jimin’s album Muse was released on July 19, Who dominated the iTunes charts. Within just 24 hours, it reached number 1 spot in 112 countries. Besides the title song, other tracks from the album also performed well, such as Be Mine reached 5th place, Slow Dance featuring took over 6th position, Rebirth landed at 7 and Interlude: Showtime secured 10th place. On the other hand, the combined playlist ranked number 1 in the iTunes Top Albums chart in 87 regions.

Meanwhile, in the Billboard list, Stray Kids made a strong debut with Chk Chk Boom, in 4th and 10th place, on both the Global Excluding US and Global 200 charts, respectively. The list also includes Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso holding the number 2 spot on both charts, while Billie Eilish’ Birds of Feather is at number 3. FloyyMenor X Cris Mj’s Gata Only secured the 5th and 9th positions, respectively. Benson Boone’s Beautiful Things holds 8th and 7th spots, and Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us is at 10th and 5th place.

Jimin’s other songs like Angel, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, Vibe and Set Me Free have also entered the Hot 100 chart.
