Kajol is anticipating the release of her film Maharagni – Queen of Queens. This film also stars an ensemble cast of Chhaya Kadam, Naseeruddin Shah and Prabhu Deva. Baweja Studios and E7 Entertainments have backed this film. Maharagni – Queen of Queens will mark the collaboration of Kajol and Prabhu Deva 27 years after the 1997 film Minsaara Kanavu. Rajiv Menon directed this film, which is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

These themes have also dominated Kajol’s real-life story. In an exclusive interview, Kajol was asked whether her growth (in career) had been restricted by the system. She said, “I’ve never been restricted by the system because I’ve never followed the system. I’ve never been a part of the rat race. I was never in competition with anyone or striving to be better with anyone. I was always in competition with myself. Regarding that, God willing, touchwood, I’ve had wonderful work coming my way."
Kajol is married to actor Ajay Devgn and is the mother to children Nysa and Yug Devgn.
