Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD is finally out in theatres and the superstar’s fans are leaving no stone unturned to celebrate the film. Amid the excitement, Pawan Kalyan’s son, Akira Nandan was spotted catching an early screening of the film and he even showed up in Kalki 2898 AD merch.

Akira showed up to watch an early show of Kalki 2898 AD in a T-shirt with Prabhas’ character on it. The film’s name was printed on the back of the shirt. Akira was seen trying to avoid the paparazzi and even tried to run to escape them. Watch here:

Besides Akira, Prabhas’ fans across the globe are celebrating the film’s release in their own ways. Several videos have gone viral on social media showing Prabhas’ fans going all out in their celebration of his latest film. From praying to Prabhas’ cut-outs to bursting fireworks, his fans have made their anticipation for Kalki 2898 AD quite clear!

In one video, fans could be seen praying to Prabhas’ giant cut-outs while a screen displayed Prabhas in a King’s avatar. In another video, fans could be seen throwing confetti in theatres as Prabhas was introduced in the film. Bike rallies were also held with flags. They also danced to his popular songs and sang along to celebrate his latest release.

The early reviews of Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are finally out, and they are overwhelmingly positive. Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD revolves around a modern avatar of Lord Vishnu, who has descended on Earth to protect the world from the forces of evil. The first show of Kalki 2898 AD played in a US theatre, and received a thunderous response from the audience, with fans going gaga over Prabhas’ entry scene.

Even for the early morning screenings in India, Prabhas’ fans showed up with immense fervour to celebrate the film’s release. Kalki 2898 AD has already sold over 19 lakh tickets across all languages in India. The film is likely to shatter multiple records at the box office as film trade experts are predicting a Rs 100 crore-plus net opening for the movie at the domestic box office. It may cross the Rs 200 crore mark globally. As per a report in Sacnilk.com, Kalki 2898 AD has sold over 15 lakh tickets in the Telugu language alone. The film has already earned over Rs 50 crore via the massive advance bookings.
