Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen is all set for the highly anticipated release of Aarya Season 3 – Antim Vaar, the successful OTT action series where she portrays the titular character. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about the challenges and excitement of learning Kalaripayattu, a traditional Indian martial art form involving swords, for her role in the show.
Expressing her enthusiasm for action sequences, Sushmita shared, “I adore action sequences. I’ve developed a mindset to embrace every opportunity, even if it involves risks.” To prepare for the intense action sequences in Aarya Season 3, she dedicated herself to learning Kalaripayattu from a professional.
Reflecting on the learning experience, Sushmita expressed her regret about not trying it earlier, emphasizing that Kalaripayattu goes beyond physical strength—it’s also an expression of vulnerability. She believes this dual aspect will be evident in her facial expressions during the action-packed scenes in the upcoming season.
Having previously discussed the challenges of shooting the climax scene for Aarya Season 3, Sushmita compared the experience to being the last soldier in her battle. The preparation for the role blurred the line between Sushmita and Aarya, showcasing the actress’s dedication to delivering a compelling performance.
