MAX Teaser Out: Kichcha Sudeep Returns With The Perfect Dose Of Action

The wait is over for fans of Kichcha Sudeep. The official teaser of his much-awaited film MAX is out. The Kannada film, directed by Vijay Karthikeya, has Sudeep in the lead role, along with Telugu actor Sunil, Pramod Shetty, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samyuktha Hornad, Sukratha Wagle and Anirudh Bhat. The one-minute and six-second teaser, released today, on July 16, shows Sudeep in a never-seen-before action avatar. It is enough to send action-thriller enthusiasts into a frenzy with some glimpses of the dark, crime-ridden and high-on-action drama that the film promises to draw us into.

The official teaser, released just a few hours ago, opens to show a back shot of Sudeep while he sings his own version of the popular nursery rhyme, Baa Baa Black Sheep. “Baa baa black sheep, have you any clue? No sir, no sir I just saw many boys flew," goes Sudeep’s voiceover as it also gives us some shots of violence and chase sequences as he goes after many in the clip.

“One is a scoundrel, one is a dame. Rest are those little boys, who lived down the lane," Sudeep’s character continues singing as Sunil is shown as a ‘scoundrel’ and Varalaxmi is called a ‘dame’. The further scenes in the clip show Sudeep trying to catch hold of and kill several other characters. However, it is not revealed why he has been hunting these people down.

His voiceover further says, “Now that you rubbed me wrong, I’ll finish the game" as he concludes the narration. The scene immediately changes to show him making some impeccable dance moves in a gathering. The backdrop seems to be that of some major festival or celebration. The final scene from the teaser assures the audiences that the film will be in theatres, “soon, sooner, soonest."

What adds to the excitement around the film is the fact that there has been a long wait for the fans of Kichcha Sudeep who was last seen in a full-fledged action avatar in the 2022 film Vikrant Rona. Meanwhile, he did a cameo last year in Kabzaa. For now, fans cannot wait for more updates, sneak peeks and the official announcement of the release date for MAX.
