Mira Rajput wished her husband-actor Shahid Kapoor a Happy Valentine’s Day by dropping an adorable picture with him on Instagram.

The Bollywood industry was swept by Valentine’s Day fever on Wednesday. While many celebrities spent quality time with their partners, others dressed to their nines attending gala parties. Meanwhile, some resorted to wishing their beloved on social media, posting lovey-dovey pictures together. For Mira Rajput, it was the latter. Although she was not “in town” to celebrate the day of love with her husband-actor Shahid Kapoor, she made sure to make her beau feel special by dropping a mushy picture with him. Her Instagram post was a clear indication that even though she was not with Shahid Kapoor, she missed him dearly.

Without adding any fancy caption, Mira Rajput simply dropped a “Hi” followed by two random emojis. Mira was seen sharing an adorable hug with Shahid Kapoor from behind. She also gave him a sweet kiss on his cheeks. The actor had a beaming smile on his face, basking in the love showered upon him.

Shahid Kapoor donned a baggy off-white cardigan, sporting a bearded look while Mira Rajput was decked up in a white ensemble, featuring multi-coloured floral prints on the sleeves. Her hair was tied in a ponytail while she flaunted her wedding ring in the snap. It seemed that the lovely moment was captured at a restaurant premises.

As soon as the photograph surfaced on the internet, social media users were quick to react to it, cheering for the celebrity couple. “My favorite couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput. Shahid Kapoor really missed his wife on the special occasion as she was not with him. On the same day, he took to his Instagram stories and dropped a video, professing his love for Mira Rajput. While sitting in a car he was heard saying, “I love you, Mira. Because you are travelling and not in town, this is my date for tonight”. The actor was actually referring to a date — the fruit.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput never refrain from dishing out major couple goals on the internet. The couple got married in July 2015. They are proud parents to daughter Misha and son Zain.
