Nana Patekar Remembers Taking Actor Atul Parchure To IPL And Meeting Sunil Gavaskar
Nana Patekar surprised Atul Parchure by taking him to Wankede Stadium to watch a Mumbai Indians match in the IPL.

Veteran actor Atul Parchure passed away at 57 on October 14. He was diagnosed with cancer in October 2022. He breathed his last on Monday following a long battle with this cancer. He possessed a remarkable ability to evoke laughter across films, TV shows and theatres left a significant impact on the entertainment industry. The death news of Atul Parchure shocked the entire film industry. During his period of treatment, the friends close to him gave him valuable support. Recalling one such incident, Atul Parchure once shared how Nana Patekar took him to watch an IPL match to spend quality time with him.

When Nana Patekar came to know about Atul Parchure’s cancer, he called the actor and inquired about his health. He was not satisfied with his answer. Therefore, Nana decided to do something for Atul Parchure. Although Atul Parchure was famous as an actor, he was a cricket enthusiast. Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar were one of his favourite cricketers. Nana Patekar understood this. So Nana Patekar decided to take Atul Parchure to an IPL match to divert his mind and send positive energy during this difficult time.

Nana Patekar surprised Atul Parchure by taking him to Wankede Stadium in Mumbai to watch the Mumbai Indians match in the IPL. These two sat in the President’s box. His surprise didn’t end there. Nana Patekar arranged a meeting of Atul Parchure with Sunil Gavaskar to make him happy. The late actor Atul Parchure considered Sunil Gavaskar as his god. At this time, Atul Parchure’s joy was sky-high. The duo took the photos with Sunil Gavaskar.
