In July, Serbian actor and model Natasa Stankovic and Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya surprised their fans with the announcement of their separation via an Instagram post. The news quickly made headlines, and following the announcement, Natasa traveled to her home country of Serbia with their son, Agastya. Meanwhile, rumors began to swirl around Hardik’s alleged involvement with British singer and TV personality Jasmin Walia, adding fuel to the public’s curiosity.
Natasa, however, remained focused on her role as a mother. Upon her recent return to Mumbai, she shared a touching moment on her Instagram stories—an adorable photo of her kissing Agastya’s head. The post was set to the uplifting song “I’m So Blessed” by Cain, reflecting her gratitude and joy in motherhood despite the challenges she faces. This heartwarming image is just one of many Natasa regularly shares, showcasing the deep bond she has with her son.
Natasa’s social media presence is filled with joyful moments of her time with Agastya, offering her followers a glimpse into their close relationship. Recently, she posted a playful video where she is seen assembling a sleek toy car for Agastya. The clip highlighted both her hands-on approach to parenting and the fun, lighthearted moments they share. These posts not only demonstrate her devotion to her son but also show the strong connection between them, a bright spot in the midst of her separation from Hardik.
The couple, who welcomed Agastya on July 30, 2020, had faced months of speculation about their relationship before finally confirming their split in a joint statement in July of this year.
The former couple mentioned it was a “tough decision” for them and revealed that they would continue co-parenting their son Agastya. While they did not disclose any reason behind their shocking divorce, later, a Times Now report stated a probable cause.
“He was too flamboyant for her, too full of himself. Natasa could not handle it anymore. She realised that there was a major gap between how they were as people. She tried to match it up to him, but it made her feel uncomfortable. This was a never-ending process, so it became tiring after a while. Natasa was not able to keep pace; hence, she decided to take a step back. She mulled over it, but her decision became firm when he did not change. It was a very painful decision by Natasa, but it didn’t come in one day/ one week. It was a slow but gradual wound that kept hurting her,” a source disclosed to the media portal.
Despite the end of their romantic relationship, both Natasa and Hardik expressed their ongoing commitment to co-parenting Agastya, ensuring he remains at the center of their lives.
