NewJeans Fans Send Protest Trucks Amid Ongoing HYBE-ADOR Feud
ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin was recently accused of trying to take over the label's management by leaking personal details of HYBE idols.

In the last few days, a major controversy has erupted around ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin and HYBE, with claims that she is trying to take the label’s management and make ADOR an independent entity. It was also reported that HYBE had initiated an audit against ADOR’s management, further also levelling allegations against the current CEO of attempting to earn ownership by leaking personal information about HYBE idols.

Following this, Min Hee-jin also made a few other inflammatory statements against HYBE chairman Bang Si-hyuk, accusing him of “copying her content and creating” BTS. On the contrary, she has denied the client’s claim about her attempts to take over the label, expressing surprise over HYBE’s actions, especially when NewJeans is gearing up for its “comeback.”

Fans send protest trucks amid HYBE feud

The crazy developments have sent K-pop fans into a frenzy. With new information being revealed simultaneously on the Internet, fans are still unsure about how things will eventually turn out in the end. Amid this, fans are also concerned about NewJeans’ comeback as the agency prepares to release a music video this month and two double singles in the coming months.

To show support for NewJeans, fans are carrying out a new movement by sending protest trucks to HYBE.

With messages like “Bunnies belong to HYBE. We support NewJeans,” “Min Hee Jin, stop using NewJeans and family,” and “Min Hee Jin stop slandering other artists immediately,” the trucks can be seen parked at the HYBE headquarters.

This has gained quite a lot of response on the internet, sparking a divided debate among fans. While a section of fans were seen targeting Min Hee-jin for misusing the artists, some also launched counterattacks against those accusing the ADOR CEO, while all showing support for the truck protests.

A fan wrote, “She really needs to stop name dropping other artists just to defend herself,” while another one commented, “This is actually the most reasonable truck demand I’ve ever seen.”

“Not the fans doing what the artists should be doing,” another one commented. A fan wrote while showing appreciation toward the protests, “Glad they’re not only defending new jeans but the other artists too period this is what we need.”

For the unversed, NewJeans is set for a comeback with double singles in May and June 2024. While How Sweet and Bubble will be out on May 24, 2024, Supernatural and Right Now will be released on June 21, 2024.
