But this particular track is quite important and special for her. In an interview, choreographer Rajit Dev shared the background story of the song.

The music video, NORA is already out. If you have checked it out, you will notice that it is a fusion of three cultures- Moroccan, Canadian commercial hip hop and Indian traditional styles all fused into a melodious symphony. While the beats of the songs are inspired by her Moroccan culture, the lyrics are in English and Darija (Moroccan Arabic).

Speaking of this new collaboration between Rajit Dev and Nora Fatehi. In an interview, he said, “This is Nora’s first international song and an introduction to a wider audience globally. The concept is about Nora, who is Moroccan by blood, who was raised in Canada and then made her career in the Indian film industry. She speaks about all these different cultures and how countries unite through art. It’s about her journey, how it started, and what she wants to achieve."

The music video was shot in Morocco. The choreographer shared that the song is unique and includes Moroccan culture. He further elaborated that the choreography has three parts- commercial hip hop depicting Canada, Indian traditional styles for the Indian sequence and Moroccan style. He shared that for the hook step, he used garba because of the beat.

In a separate interview, Nora Fatehi opened up about her song. She said that NORA shows “how her identity was created in Morocco, Canada and India".
