Nearly a month ahead of the release of Baaghi 2, the makers of the film had announced the third installment in the popular action movie franchise. While it was revealed that the film would once again star Tiger Shroff as male lead, the name of the leading lady was kept under the wraps.
Now a report in Bollywood Hungama suggests that Sara Ali Khan has been approached for the movie, but it is not yet confirmed whether or not she will be a part of the project. While Baaghi saw Shraddha Kapoor opposite Tiger, Baaghi 2 had Disha Patani as female lead.
Meanwhile, Sara, who made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, has already impressed the audience with her acting skills. She is also awaiting the release of her another movie Simmba, which will see her opposite Ranveer Singh. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Simmba is a remake of Telugu film Temper that starred Jr NTR. Simmba features Ranveer as Sangram Bhalerao, a corrupt cop who becomes a crusader of women’s safety after a girl he treats as his younger sister gets raped.
Also starring Sonu Sood and Ashutosh Rana in key roles, Simmba is slated to release on December 28.
