Parineeti Chopra Has A Request For Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanjh And It Has Amar Singh Chamkila Connection

Parineeti Chopra’s impressive performance in Amar Singh Chamkila garnered her critical acclaim and applause from the audience as well. Directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Diljit Dosanjh, the film featured the actors in the role of Amarjot Kaur. Months after the film’s release, Parineeti became nostalgic, asking the director and co-actor whether they could shoot the film again on social media.

Parineeti Chopra, on Monday, added a video on Instagram stories. Featuring real-life Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur, performing their song Pehle Lalkare live, the clip was accompanied by a cute request from the actress. Writing “Ufff”, followed by pink heart emojis, she tagged both Diljit Dosanjh and Imtiaz Ali to ask them, “Can we shoot the film again?”

Later, Imtiaz Ali re-shared Parineeti Chopra’s post adding a bunch of laughing emojis.

FYI, Amar Singh Chamkila premiered on Netflix on April 12. Ahead of the film’s release, the actress posted a touching note on Instagram, expressing gratitude to the cast and crew of the film. She wrote, “I’m immensely thankful for Chamkila. Imtiaz Ali official sir, your direction was unparalleled; you truly led the ship with finesse. Your vision and passion set a new standard. Diljit dosanjh, you were the perfect co-star, making every moment on set enjoyable and effortless. A R Rahman sir, being musically directed by you – a thing of dreams.”

“And the entire team who made this film. Shooting this film has topped any other film experience because I got to sing and act – 2 things I’m the most passionate about, so thank you,” added Parineeti Chopra in her post.

In terms of personal life, Parineeti Chopra jetted off to the Maldives to celebrate her first wedding anniversary with her husband Raghav Chadha on September 24. Offering a glimpse of their intimate celebration, the actress showcased how they spent their time on the beach. Sharing a series of photos and videos, she wrote, “Ragaii – I don’t know what I did in my past life and this one, to deserve you. I have married the perfect gentleman, my goofy friend, sensitive partner, my mature husband (thank god because.…me!), a straight-up honest human being, the best son, brother in law & son in law.”
