National Award winning actor Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha has been making headlines ever since its trailer has been released. Much like the best film’s trailer, it didn’t reveal much, but did tempt us just enough to watch the film when it releases. And the fact that it could give us the information required to trigger our curiosity, it has been lauded by several celebrities.
Interestingly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated the trailer of Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
The PM said the film is a commendable effort to promote cleanliness.
"Good effort to further the message of cleanliness. 125 crore Indians have to continue working together to create a Swachh Bharat," Modi tweeted after Akshay shared the link of the trailer with him.

To this the actor replied, "Thank you so much honourable Sir. Hope we succeed in changing mindsets and truly making a difference."
Last month, Akshay met the PM to discuss the film’s concept.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film explores the love story against the backdrop of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Toilet... also features Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher and Sana Khan in key roles.
The film will hit the screens on August 11.
