Rana Naidu Season 2 Or Stree 2? Abhishek Banerjee’s New Look Has Everyone Talking

Abhishek Banerjee is enjoying a successful time in the entertainment industry as he has worked on some hit projects, including Stree, Bhediya, Dream Girl and Pataal Lok. As he gears up for more intriguing roles, the actor recently underwent a makeover and shared his fresh new look on Instagram. While his fans are delighted with his transformation, some in the comments section are comparing him with stand up comedian Abhishek Upmanyu. Although Banerjee didn’t reveal the project for which he transformed his look, speculation suggests that the actor might be gearing up for Season 2 of Rana Naidu, where he plays the character of Jaffa. Alongside Abhishek, the series also features stars like Rana Daggubati, Daggubati Venkatesh, Surveen Chawla and Flora Saini.

Additionally, some even believe that Abhishek’s new look might be for Stree 2, alongside Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana and Shraddha Kapoor. In the Instagram post, Abhishek is casually dressed in a grey t-shirt paired with a blue jacket. He appears to be showing off his fresh new haircut and sharing the post, the Aakhri Sach actor wrote, “GUESS WHO’s BACK?”

Previously, Abhishek Banerjee sparked excitement among fans when he offered a behind the scenes glimpse from the sets of Rana Naidu season 2. Although the Instagram story has since been deleted, the actor shared a selfie featuring himself alongside the show’s lead star, Rana Daggubati. In the snapshot, both actors are captured laughing while waiting in their costumes for the shoot to begin.

Among all the projects, Abhishek is also busy filming for Section 84, where he will be sharing screen with legendary Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times, the actor opened up about his first meeting with the superstar and revealed that Bachchan scolded him for trying to touch his feet. He recalled, “He scolded me like a teacher and said ‘Don’t do that.’ He said because he wants to be an equal. Some might think of it as pretence, but as an actor I can see that beyond all the stardom, at the core he is still an actor who wants to be respectful to his co-actors.”

Abhishek Banerjee compared the shooting experience with Amitabh Bachchan as a “masterclass.” He expressed that despite not attending any acting school, the veteran star became his mentor on the set.

Other than Section 84, Rana Naidu season 2 and Stree 2, Abhishek will be seen in Vedaa, featuring John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh.
