Ranvir Shorey has opened up about his equation with his former wife, Konkona Sen. In the recent episode of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Shorey was talking to Armaan Malik when he said, “Ghar Par toh akela main he hoon, matlab mera beta aadha time mere saath hota hai.” Ranvir further told Armaan that his son is 13 years old and added, “Aadha time apni maa ke saath aur aadha time mere saath (Half the time with his mother and half with me).”
When Armaan asked Ranvir if he is still in touch with his former wife, Konkana, the actor revealed that they meet because of their son. “Matlab bacche ke liye joh hota hai utna he (It’s as much as required for the child),” he said.
However, Ranvir also made it clear that he is “content with my work” and does not wish to enter into a romantic relationship as of now.
Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen started dating each other in 2007. The two tied the knot in 2010 and welcomed their son, Haroon, a year later. However, the couple parted ways in 2015. Announcing the same on her social media handle, Konkona had said, “Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you.”
Ranvir Shorey is known for films like Chandni Chowk to China, Lootcase, Singh Is Kinng, Tiger 3 and 420 IPC among others. The actor entered the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house on June 21 during the grand premiere.
Before he entered into the controversial reality show, Ranvir talked about how he plans to manage the Bigg Boss house and whether he has the right personality for it. “I am not the coolest person, I tend to lose my calm over small issues. So this is going to be a challenge for me. But I’m not going under any pressure. Also, limited food is going to be a challenge. But I’m hoping they’ll give us sufficient food that’s needed to survive. I’m sure they’re not calling us to starve. But I am going to keep telling myself, you’re just going to be here for a month or so, so chill. My strategy is to keep myself busy. Doing household chores, doing exercises, and healing my body,” he told Indian Express.
