Renuka Swamy Murder Accused Visited Temple After Changing Blood-stained Clothes: Report
On June 17, Bengaluru Police took the accused to the same shop to recreate the crime scene.

Kannada cinema has been in the headlines for some time after the Renuka Swamy murder case in which actor Darshan and others have been accused. Now, a big revelation has come to light in this case. As per the India Today report, after the murder, three of the accused went to a Reliance Trends shop in RR Nagar in Bengaluru to replace their clothes. It is because the ones they were originally wearing were blood-stained. After purchasing new clothes, they also reportedly went to the temple. On June 17, Bengaluru Police took the accused to the same shop to recreate the crime scene. As per the reports, Darshan might be taken to Mysuru to create the crime scene.

Celebrities from the Kannada film industry have also raised their voices on this case. The latest to do so is the Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep. According to a report by OneIndia, Sudeep told the media, “We are only aware of what the media is showing to us because we are not going to the police station to get the information. It looks like the media and the police are working hard to uncover the truth. There’s no doubt about that.”

Renuka Swamy murder case

Darshan, his close friend Pavithra Gowda, and 13 of his associates have been arrested for the murder of Renuka Swamy. His body was found near a stormwater drain with multiple injury marks on June 9. According to the reports, Darshan, popularly known as “Challenging Star”, was furious with Swamy after he sent obscene messages and images to the 33-year-old Gowda. According to a report by NDTV, the autopsy report found 15 wounds on his body including marks on the head, abdomen, chest and other parts. As per the report, Swamy’s head rammed a mini truck which was parked in a shed in Bengaluru and has now been seized by the police.

Earlier, the Karnataka police officials claimed that Darshan and his aides had beaten Swamy with sticks and then allegedly thrown him against the wall. This led to his death. Swamy, an employee at the Apollo Pharmacy Branch, was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8.
