After the overwhelming box office performance of Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, the superstar’s fans have been speculating about his next project. It was said that Salman Khan was going to collaborate with long-time friend Sooraj Barjatya for the filmmaker’s next venture titled Prem Ki Shaadi. That project was shelved, as per reports. However, the latest reports claim that Salman and Sooraj will be collaborating for another big film.
“Sooraj Barjatya and Salman Khan are working towards and looking forward to a bigger vision and large-scale project. Sooraj Barjatya is directing a film before he collaborates with the superstar and, as we all know, Salman has a packed schedule for the next 26 months,” Pinkvilla quoted the source as saying.
The film will be Salman and Sooraj’s fifth collaboration. The duo have earlier worked together on Maine Pyaar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hai and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Salman’s characters were named Prem in all the previous projects.
Salman Khan was last seen in Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The film was a massive blockbuster hit. Before that, he made a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. He also has Siddharth Anand’s Tiger Vs Pathaan in his pipeline.
Salman’s upcoming projects also include Karan Johar’s The Bull. Earlier this month, Salman Khan’s fans shared photos and videos on Instagram of the actor and his father, Salim Khan, at their Galaxy Apartment. The images revealed Salman’s impressive physical transformation, likely for his upcoming film, The Bull, directed by Vishnuvardhan. The role required a change in his body structure, prompting rigorous training.
In the film, Salman is set to portray Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who led Operation Cactus in the Maldives in 1988. He is undergoing intense physical training for the same. The action sequences in this Salman Khan film will be distinct from his previous works, as he portrays a paramilitary officer.
