Shah Rukh Khan is likely to get discharged from Ahmedabad’s KD hospital today. As reported by the news agency PTI, police officials have shared that the Bollywood superstar underwent treatment at the hospital and might return home soon.
“Khan is still undergoing treatment at the hospital. It is possible that he may get discharged today,” Ahmedabad (Rural) Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Jat said.
Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to the KD Hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday evening after he suffered from severe dehydration owing to the heat. “Actor Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad apparently due to heat stroke,” a police official told PTI.
While Shah Rukh Khan’s fans were left worried, his close friend and actor Juhi Chawla shared his health update while speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha. “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals,” she said.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Next, he will soon be seen in King. The film is being produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. The film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh and is also likely to star SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan. Recently, it was revealed that Shah Rukh will be playing a Don in his film. Much like his OG Don role, he will have shades of grey in King.
Shah Rukh Khan is likely to begin shooting for King later this year. Recently, the actor was speaking for Knight Club’s King Khan Rules on Star Sports when he shared insights on his return to the shooting schedule for the year. Shah Rukh mentioned that last year, he had three movie releases (Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki), which kept him constantly engaged. Considering the physical demands of his roles, he opted to take a break and focus on his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
