Singer Tulsi Kumar was recently injured on the set of her upcoming music video in Chandigarh when an unexpected accident occurred. During filming of the video, a large wooden prop collapsed on the set, catching Tulsi off guard. The incident, captured on video, has been circulating on social media. In the clip shared on Instagram, Tulsi, dressed in an off-white outfit, is seen preparing for a shot when the massive wooden prop suddenly falls towards her from behind. The singer attempted to move out of the way as crew members screamed but the prop landed on her.
A crew member in a white T-shirt quickly sprang into action, lifting the fallen prop off Tulsi. As the video continues, additional crew members swiftly surround her to provide assistance, as she appears to be in pain from her injuries.
In a statement quoted by Free Press Journal, Tulsi revealed that she had suffered a bruised arm due to the accident. She expressed her appreciation for the swift action of the production team. “I am currently shooting in Chandigarh for my song ‘Dil Kuch Hor Nahi Mangda.’ I faced an unexpected challenge with a minor mishap that left me with a bruised arm. Despite the concerns, especially since it’s a dance song, I’m grateful for the swift support from my production team. By God’s grace, the movement of my hand is fine and I hope we complete the shoot without any obstacles,” Tulsi said.
As soon as the video went viral, it sparked a wave of reactions on social media with many expressing relief that Tulsi was not seriously hurt. Several praised the man who swiftly rescued her, with one person commenting “Hats off to the man who saved her within a perfect timing.” Another added, “Omg.. thanks to that guy in white for his prompt response.” Someone else expressed, “Hope she is absolutely fine and safe.”
Tulsi’s new song titled Saccha Wala Pyaar, which she sang alongside Vishal Mishra was released last month. It features actors Sparsh Shrivastava and Pratibha Ranta, who were also co-stars in Kiran Rao directed film Laapataa Ladies.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the music video is set against the stunning landscapes of Leh, creating a beautiful backdrop for the song. In an interview with IANS, Tulsi described that resonates with the purest emotion of love. “I have done a lot of romantic songs in the past but in this one, we have experimented with my tone and scale to give it a very youthful and fresh sound,” she said.
The song is available on TSeries YouTube channel.
