Sidharth Malhotra Drops Special Note For Fans As His Film Student Of The Year Completes 12 Years; See Here

Sidharth Malhotra made his debut with Student Of The Year co starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The film was loved by fans and is still remembered. Well, on Saturday it completed 12 years and on this special occasion, Sidharth thanked fans for being with him on this journey. He also shared a special video.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Sidharth Malhotra shared the video which is a compilation of all his scenes in the film and wrote, “12 amazing years of your love and support! Thank you for being with me on this journey. Here’s to keeping the good times rolling and entertaining you all!! Big love and hug.” Director Karan Johar took to his social media to share some unseen pictures from the sets of the film. Taking to his Instagram, Karan Johar shared a series of pictures from the sets of Student Of The Year. The first picture shows him posing with Kajol, designer Manish Malhotra, and makeup maverick Mickey Contractor from what looks like the Disco Deewane sequence. Another picture shows him with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra on the set. He also posted a picture with Rishi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan from the sets of the movie. Sharing these unseen pictures, Johar wrote, “Let’s start with…there’s something about ‘today’, something very special!!! 12 years and I look back at the film I embarked on, solely to have the best time of my life. And best time, it was! #SOTY”

Directed by Johar, Student Of The Year revolves around three students and deals with themes of love and friendship. The movie earned more than Rs 100 crores upon its release.

On the work front, Sidharth is reportedly in advanced talks to headline ‘Race 4’ alongside Saif Ali Khan. “While Ramesh Taurani has a team of in-house writers working on the basic plot of Race 4, he has brought in seasoned writers and directors to develop it into a full-fledged screenplay. Conversations with Sidharth Malhotra have already begun to bring him on board alongside Saif Ali Khan. Sidharth is a fan of the Race franchise and is keen to take on this role,” a source told Pinkvilla.

Bollywood Hungama reported that Sidharth and Kriti Sanon are teaming up for a love story produced by Maddock Films. It is also reported that Sidharth has also signed a desi mass action entertainer produced by Murad Khetani.
