On Father’s Day, Sidharth Malhotra took a trip down memory lane and shared a bundle of happy photos with his Dad and penned an endearing note for him. He wrote, “Happy Father’s Day, Dad! You have been my favorite hero since childhood and will always be! From admiring your style, fitness, to your sense of humor, you truly are the best I know! – Your Biggest Fan ❤️.”

Sidharth Malhotra, son of former Merchant Navy captain Sunil Malhotra, has always been reserved about his personal life, preferring to keep it out of the limelight. Despite this, his close and beautiful bond with his father still manages to shine through.
Earlier during the promotions of Shershaah, Sidharth had shared that the only validation that’d matter to him would be from hi dad. In an interview with Hindustan Times, he shared, “My grandfather got injured while at the war and took an early retirement. My father is an army brat and he has seen my grandfather serve. He’s just happy that one of his sons has become a pretend army soldier if not a real one and is playing this amazing heroic character.”
He added, “My father knows what sacrifices one has to make to serve for their country. He’s really looking forward to the film. I also hope Captain Batra’s family thinks that I’ve done justice to his story. That’s the only review I’m waiting for and nervous about.”
Released in 2021, Siddharth Malhotra’s Shershaah turned out to be a massive hit on the OTT platform. The film also starred Kiara Advani in a pivotal role.
