Sonu Nigam is undoubtedly one of the best singers that Bollywood has had after the legendary Kishore- Rafi period. Sonu started his career by singing covers of Mohammad Rafi songs.
Born in 1973, Nigam got his first stage exposure at the age of four when he sang Mohammad Rafi's Kya Hua Tera Wada alongside his father. Later, he received formal training from Hindustani classical singer Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan.
Nigam has shown versatility right from his initial songs like Yeh Dil Deewana in Pardes to Dard in Sarbjit this year.
