Stree 2 Teaser: Shraddha Kapoor Unveils FIRST LOOK, Makes Surprise Appearance During Munjya Screening

The much-awaited teaser of Stree 2 released today during the screening of Munjya. But the excitement didn’t stop there. In a thrilling turn of events, Stree star Shraddha Kapoor took the anticipation to an entirely new level.

She made a surprise appearance at the screening of Munjya at Chitra Cinemas in Mumbai’s Dadar, where she unveiled the official first poster of Stree 2 and launched the teaser, along with producer Dinesh Vijan and director Amar Kaushik, much to the delight of the unsuspecting audience. During the poster launch, the actress thanked Amar Kaushik and shared, “Inhi hi wajah se, hum sabko Stree mili hai,mujhe Stree mili hai.”

Fans were ecstatic about the surprise visit and the announcement, as it’s been a long wait since Stree first captivated audiences in 2018. With the new poster and teaser, the excitement has skyrocketed.

The teaser, now available to watch exclusively in cinemas along with Munjya, has already sparked a wave of speculation about the plot twists and turns that await. Fans are eagerly marking their calendars for August 15th, 2024, when Stree 2 will finally grace the big screens.

After much delay, Stree 2 finally went on floors last year in July in Chanderi, a town in Madhya Pradesh where the first instalment of the horror-comedy franchise was also set. The shoot of the film starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee is currently underway.

Stree was released in 2018. It opened to wide critical acclaim and emerged as a commercial success at the box office. The music of the film also drew a lot of attention, with Milegi Milegi and Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe becoming raging chartbusters. The audience also fondly remembers Kamariya featuring a scintillating Nora Fatehi, who grabbed a lot of eyeballs for her moves on the track.

Stree 2 is being directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. It is a part of the producer’s horror-comedy universe, which includes films like Stree, Roohi, and Bhediya. Stree 2 is set for a theatrical release on August 30, 2024.
