Global pop sensation Taylor Swift and her boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were spotted attending the US Open Men’s final on Sunday, September 8, in New York City. Numerous photos and videos from their appearance have surfaced online, with one clip capturing the couple entering the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, where the tennis match was held.

For the day, the 34-year-old singer opted for a red and white gingham dress paired with brown high heels and cat-eye sunglasses. She wore her signature bold red lipstick to complete her look. Meanwhile, her beau, Kelce, donned a polo cardigan and white shorts with a bucket hat, everything from Gucci. The video was shared on the US Open’s official Instagram page with the caption, “In a tennis era.”

Taylor and Travis attended the tennis championships’ final match with the latter’s teammate Patrick Mahomes, and his wife Brittany. Both the couples watched the match from a suite in the stadium. There’s another video that went viral on social media, where ‘Traylor’ (a fond moniker given to Taylor and Travis by their fans) was filmed singing to I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness playing at the stadium. The US Open IG page shared the video with the caption, “@taylorswift and @killatrav believe in a thing called love.”

The same Instagram account jogged some memories. They revealed that the pop sensation was back at the US Open after 22 years. The last time Taylor was seen at the championships was back in 2002. The then-aspiring singer got to sing America the Beautiful at Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the complex where the US Open was held this year. The IG page shared the then-and-now picture with “full circle moment” as the caption.

Prior to attending the US Open Men’s final, Taylor was seen at Chief’s home opening game for the 2024-25 season at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, cheering for her boyfriend. On Saturday, the couple attended the wedding of model and singer Karen Elson to Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster.
