Thalapathy Vijay Should Emulate MGR's Charitable Actions To Succeed In Politics: Producer K Rajan

The upcoming Tamil film Ninaivellam Neeyada, written and directed by Aadhiraajan, features Manisha Yadav as the female lead. Prajan plays the lead hero, with Yuvalakshmi and Sinamika as the supporting heroines. The cast also includes Madhumita, the late actor Manobala, director RV Udayakumar and PL Thenappan. The music and preview launch was organised at Prasad Label, Saligramam, Chennai.

As a special guest, Producer K Rajan addressed the gathering, acknowledging actor Thalapathy Vijay’s recent venture into politics by establishing a new party. Rajan congratulated Vijay on behalf of the Tamil film industry and offered advice for success in politics, suggesting he emulate MGR’s charitable actions by allocating at least 15 per cent of his resources.

Rajan stressed the importance of direct connection with the people, rather than relying on representatives like Bussy Anand to convey messages. He added that if Vijay approached politics with the people’s welfare at heart and refrained from seeking exorbitant salaries, he could potentially make a positive impact on society.

Director Aadhiraajan also talked about the film’s music and mentioned the initial challenge of approaching Ilaiyaraaja but found it comfortable to work with him. Yuvan Shankar Raja has contributed his voice to one of the five songs in the film. Produced by Lekha Theatres and Royal Babu, the movie’s music, composed by Ilaiyaraaja, marks his 1,417th film.

Aadhiraajan revealed that the film is inspired by a true incident from his friend’s life in Madurai, with 70 per cent of the story based on facts and 30 per cent fictionalised. He stated that the movie focuses on the theme of first love during school days. Actress Madhumita, who portrayed a role in the film, was pregnant during the shooting.

Aadhiraajan shared the unique experience of feeling the baby kick in her belly whenever the director called “action” on the mic, making it an unforgettable experience. Additionally, he praised actor Devaraj, stating that while he has worked with numerous actresses, he found Madhumita’s ability to deliver her lines within three days remarkable.
