Prime Video’s popular animated fantasy series, The Legend of Vox Machina, is returning for the third season. Created by Matthew Mercer, the upcoming series is based on the 2015 reality show Critical Role — a live-streamed programme where voice artists role-play the characters of the Dungeon & Dragons game, exploring and developing stories from the fantasy world. The Critical Role has been entertaining viewers for three seasons, with the last segment airing in October 2021. Now, Prime Video has announced the Season 3 release date of The Legend of Vox Machina along with dropping the trailer on their official social media handles.
Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Prime Video wrote, “They’ve never faced anything like this. The Legend of Vox Machina returns for Season Three on October 3, exclusively on Prime Video.” The video begins with a voiceover in the background saying, “The future is frightening. It is a future that hasn’t yet been written. Vox Machina, your world will be destroyed.” The protagonists can be seen navigating through challenging situations and dealing with evil otherworldly beings like fiends and dragons. The heroes have only one motto — to save Exandria from Thordak, the self-anointed Cinder King.

Infused with heavy action sequences, coupled with a looming uncertainty about the fate of the superheroes, the third installment of The Legend of Vox Machina promises an adrenaline-filled journey, that is likely to keep viewers hooked to their screens. The trailer also features the song Bang Your Head from rock band AWOLNATION’s latest album The Phantom Five.
