The protagonists can be seen navigating through challenging situations and dealing with evil otherworldly beings like fiends and dragons in the official season 3 trailer of The Legend of Vox Machina.

Prime Video’s popular animated fantasy series, The Legend of Vox Machina, is returning for the third season. Created by Matthew Mercer, the upcoming series is based on the 2015 reality show Critical Role — a live-streamed programme where voice artists role-play the characters of the Dungeon & Dragons game, exploring and developing stories from the fantasy world. The Critical Role has been entertaining viewers for three seasons, with the last segment airing in October 2021. Now, Prime Video has announced the Season 3 release date of The Legend of Vox Machina along with dropping the trailer on their official social media handles.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Prime Video wrote, “They’ve never faced anything like this. The Legend of Vox Machina returns for Season Three on October 3, exclusively on Prime Video.” The video begins with a voiceover in the background saying, “The future is frightening. It is a future that hasn’t yet been written. Vox Machina, your world will be destroyed.” The protagonists can be seen navigating through challenging situations and dealing with evil otherworldly beings like fiends and dragons. The heroes have only one motto — to save Exandria from Thordak, the self-anointed Cinder King.

“Our lovable band of misfits must rise above inner (and outer) demons to try and save their loved ones,” read the summary description on YouTube. Infused with heavy action sequences, coupled with a looming uncertainty about the fate of the superheroes, the third installment of The Legend of Vox Machina promises an adrenaline-filled journey, that is likely to keep viewers hooked to their screens. The trailer also features the song Bang Your Head from rock band AWOLNATION’s latest album The Phantom Five.

Produced collaboratively by Amazon MGM Studios, Critical Role Productions, and Titmouse Inc, The Legend of Vox Machina Season 3 features the cast and founders of Critical Role — Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Ashley Johnson, Taliesin Jaffe, Liam O’Brien, Sam Riegel, Marisha Ray and Travis Willingham.

According to a press release by Amazon MGM Studios, season 3 of The Legend of Vox Machina will comprise 12 episodes. Three episodes will air on the OTT platform every week in over 240 countries and territories worldwide, starting from October 3.
