This is How Sonam Kapoor Wished Father Anil on His 62nd Birthday

Anil Kapoor turned 62 years young today, and the actor began his day with an inspiring video of his morning workout. Known for his unending energy, Anil is seen running, doing squats, push-ups and mountain climbers with his trainer.

It seemed the actor was quite eager to burn off the extra calories from the birthday cakes. We understand why – last night, his daughter Rhea Kapoor had shared a video of her father cutting as many as three cakes! Every member of the family was present, except for Sonam Kapoor, who joined in the celebrations via video call.

Anil has been responding to warm birthday messages all day on social media, but the most endearing one came from his daughter Sonam. The actress made up for her absence at last night’s celebrations by sharing a special message for her father on Instagram. She recalled the “momentous” year they have had, with her getting married and also getting the chance to star in the same film with her father.

The first poster of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga was unveiled today to coincide with Anil’s birthday. The actor shared the poster of the film, alongwith the news that the trailer will be launched on December 27.

The Vidhu Vinod Chopra production has Anil and Sonam playing father-daughter onscreen for the first time. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla.
