Rumoured couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to share the screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. It is believed that they bonded with each other while shooting Ayan's film.
They first sparked romance rumours when they arrived together at Sonam Kapoor's wedding reception in May last year. Recently, Alia's father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spilled the beans on her relationship with Ranbir. Confirming that they are indeed together, Bhatt told The Telegraph, "Well, of course they're in love. You don't need to be a genius to get that!"
Alia too seemingly confirmed that she's dating Ranbir on the first episode of Koffee With Karan season 6. Although she kept ignoring the relationship question, show's host Karan Johar took it upon himself to announce that she was officially in a relationship with Ranbir.
The two are currently spending some quality in New York with Ranbir's family. Alia flew down to NYC with Ranbir to celebrate the New Year with the Kapoors. A new picture of the couple from the US has emerged on social media. In the photo, a visibly happy couple can be seen posing with their fan.

On Tuesday, Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram to share a perfect family dinner photograph which showed Alia and Ranbir spending New Years with the Kapoor family. They were also joined by Ranbir's sister Ridhima Kapoor Sahini, her husband Bharat Sahni and daughter Samara.
