Tom Cruise Makes Rare Public Appearance On Birthday And We Can't Keep Calm
Tom Cruise was recently seen with his sister Marian Mapother in a rare public appearance for his 62nd birthday celebration in the UK.

Tom Cruise, who is spending time in the UK filming Mission Impossible 8, took a break from his busy schedule to celebrate his 62nd birthday with loved ones on July 3. While the Hollywood star is often surrounded by celebrities, Cruise was recently seen with his sister Marian Mapother in a rare public appearance. The two were spotted together while exiting a helicopter in Battersea. They were accompanied by Mission Impossible director Christopher McQuarrie and his wife Heather. Despite his fame, Cruise has always remained close with his family, including his other sisters, Lee-Ann and Cass Mapother.

As per the paparazzi video circulating on the internet, while Marian, Christopher and his wife quickly left the airport, the Top gun star took a moment and gave a friendly wave to the photographer as he arrived. Cruise even greeted the airport staff by giving them a fist bump before heading out. During the birthday outing, Marian looked happy, dressed casually in a black padded jacket and loose trousers as she walked on the tarmac after landing. Cruise looked charming as always in a simple navy blue T-shirt and denims.

Tom Cruise’s recent sighting with his sister Marian comes shortly after he was seen in a rare public appearance with his son Connor. Cruise shares Connor with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, who married in 1990 and got separated in 2001. While the two were married, the couple adopted Connor in January 1995 and Isabella in 1992.

In a 2007 interview with Vanity Fair, Nicole Kidman, who met Tom when she was 22, spoke about their decision to adopt two children. She explained, “From the minute Tom and I were married, I wanted to have babies. And we lost a baby early on, so that was really very traumatic and that’s when it came that we would adopt Bella.”

Without getting into the details, the actress added, “There’s a complicated background to that, given that I never speak much about many things. One day maybe that story will be told. So that’s the way it came up, and we adopted Bella when I was 25. My mother has an adopted sister, so it’s been part of our family, and I knew it would probably play out somewhere in mine. I didn’t think it would happen so early, but it did.”

Other than Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part Two, Tom Cruise is also gearing up for Top Gun 3.
