The filming for Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is going on in full swing. The lead cast of the film has been joined by Maniesh Paul, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf for the shoot. With such an intriguing cast coming together, fun is guaranteed even during the workout sessions. Don’t believe us? A video posted by Varun on his Instagram stories is proof.
The clip, visibly captured by Varun Dhawan, showcases Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf working out on a treadmill. The fun-filled conversation begins as Varun introduces the duo to his fans saying, “Fittest co-stars I’ve ever worked with.” Sanya quips saying, “You can’t work out with us.” When Varun asks her about the reason behind the discrimination, she starts joking around. Rohit smartly escapes the conversation.
In another video shared hours ago, Varun Dhawan also shared a glimpse of his playful banter with his co-star Maniesh Paul. The duo, who previously collaborated for Jug Jug Jeeyo, are reuniting for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. In the clip, Maniesh is seen sitting on a sofa in the airport lounge, engrossed in a book when Varun interrupts him asking whether he is planning to ‘attack people’ after reading the same. In response, Maniesh gives a humourous warning to Varun saying that he will also release his “khufiya” videos.
Later, Maniesh Paul also added a picture to his Instagram stories. Featuring him with Varun Dhawan, the picture captured the duo in a stylish avatar. While Varun rocked a striped yellow and white shirt for his jet-set look, Maniesh decided to keep it cool in a black T-shirt and matching jacket. Along with the photo, the actor wrote, “And here we go again!”
Coming back to Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, reports suggest that Akshay Oberoi has also been roped in to play a pivotal role in the Shashank Khaitan directorial. A source was earlier quoted by Pinkvilla as saying, “Akshay Oberoi has joined the cast of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. He’ll be playing one of the main supporting leads.”
Poised to be a romantic family entertainer with a romantic touch, the film is penned and helmed by Shashank Khaitan. Khaitan has earlier directed both the films of the Dulhania franchise including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is set to release next year on April 18.
