Vettaiyan Release Date Out: Rajinikanth Starrer To Clash With Suriya’s Kanguva This October

Rajinikanth starrer Vettaiyan has been in the news for a long time. Today, the makers shared good news and announced the release date. It is all set to clash with Suriya’s Kanguva. Both films are releasing on October 10 and fans are very excited. The news has gone viral.

Lycra production took to its X handle and shared the news, “Target locked VETTAIYAN is set to hunt in cinemas worldwide from OCTOBER 10th, 2024! Superstar as Supercop! Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada!” They have also shared the poster in which Rajinikanth is dressed up as cop. Rajinikanth, during a conversation with a saint, reportedly said, “Vettaiyan will release for Dussehra. I have completed my portions. The shooting with other members of the cast is still going on. The film will release on October 10 or so.”

Vettaiyan is being helmed by T J Gnanavel. It stars Rajinikanth as the protagonist, with an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, Kishore, and Rohini. It is being produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the banner of Lyca Productions. The music in the film is being given by Anirudh Ravichander, while S R Kathir is the cinematographer, and Philomin Raj is doing the editing.

Previously, Rajinikanth was seen in Jailer, a 2023 blockbuster release. The film was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and starred Rajinikanth in the titular role, along with Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu, and Mirnaa Menon. Tamannaah Bhatia, Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal were seen in extended cameo roles in the film. It was produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.

Suriya’s one of the most awaited films Kanguva trailer has finally released. The fantasy drama has been in the news ever since it was announced. Kanguva is directed by Siva and stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, and many more in key roles. Kanguva is set to hit the theatres on October 10, 2024.
