The third season of one of the biggest shows in the country, Mirzapur, was released on Amazon Prime Video last week. Amidst the high expectations, the series is garnering mixed reviews from the audience. This one character is receiving incredible love after the latest season, she is Saloni Tyagi, better known as Saloni Bhabhi. Do you know the woman behind this remarkable character? The immensely popular character of Saloni Bhabhi is portrayed by Neha Sargam. She is best known for her role of Nivedita Viren Sood from the serial Chand Chupa Badal Mein, which aired on Star Plus channel. As per the information given, she started her journey in the entertainment industry as a contestant in Indian Idol 4, which premiered in 2009. Her journey as a singer was cut short as she had to leave the show because of a throat infection. Then in 2010, she appeared in Chand Chupa Badal Mein, which was followed by her appearances in Sapna Babul Ka … Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, as Nivedita. In 2012, she was seen in the Zee TV show Ramayan, portraying the role of Sita.
She was introduced to the audience in Mirzapur season 2 as Saloni Tyagi, the wife of Bharat Tyagi (played by Vijay Varma). Neha is receiving a lot of critical acclaim for her portrayal of Saloni Bhabhi, with some fans even claiming she is the “only good thing” about this season.
After a wait of four years, Mirzapur season 3 had its premiere on July 5. The latest season is made under the direction of Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer. The leads of the season are Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, among many others. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Kassim Jagmagia and Gurmmeet Singh under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The third season showcases the battle between Guddu Pandit and Kaleen Bhaiya, as the two lock horns over the throne for power.
