Father’s Day was celebrated on June 16. On this occasion, actress Rupali Ganguly remembered her father Anil Ganguly by sharing a heartwarming post. She penned a heartwarming post for her father while sharing unseen photos with him. The post has gone viral now. Anil Ganguly was an Indian director and screenwriter, best known for the Jaya Bachchan-starrer Kora Kagaz and the Raakhee starrer Tapasya. Both films won the National Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He died at the age of 82.

While remembering and honouring her father, the Anupamaa fame actress wrote that the memories of him will always be with her till her last breath. “I’m running out of pictures Pappa … wish we had some more … wish wish wish I still had u between us … but the memories will last me till the last breath…. Not a single day passes when I have not missed u …. but also not a single day passes when I miss u and you have not given me a sign that you are still watching over me” wrote Rupali Ganguly.

Rupali Ganguly credits her success to her father. “The strength in me is the resilience u have taught me … my skills, my talent, my performance everything is yours Pappa …I am what I am because of you….Happy Father’s Day to the best father ever” further read her note. Take a look at the post,

Anil Ganguly’s son and Rupali Ganguly’s brother, Vijay Ganguly reacted to the post with heart emojis. He is a choreographer who is best known for his work in films Jagga Jasoos, Andhadhun, Stree and Love Aaj Kal.

Rupali Ganguly is currently one of the highest-paid actresses in the TV industry. She is widely recognised for her portrayal of Monisha Singh in the cult sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. The actress is now trending with her titular role in the serial Anupamaa. It premiered in 2020.
