Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got married to her long-time boyfriend Nupur Shikhare recently. After an intimate registration ceremony on January 3, the couple held a white wedding in Udaipur on January 10. They got married in the presence of their close friends and family. Now, a grand reception will be held in Mumbai on January 13 and major names from Bollywood and politics are expected to attend it. As such, Aamir Khan flew to Delhi on Thursday to personally hand out some invitations.
Aamir looked dapper in a grey suit as he was seen posing with his fans despite his busy schedule. As per reports, the purpose of his Delhi visit is to personally invite some dignitaries to Ira Khan’s Mumbai reception. The grand reception will be held on Saturday, January 13 at the BKC Jio Centre.

According to reports, the list of invitees for the event includes names such as Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Juhi Chawla, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and the Ambani family among others.

Aamir was also spotted at the Udaipur Airport on Thursday in a blue kurta and jeans. This was his first appearance after Ira’s wedding. Ira and Nupur also made their first public appearance as a married couple at the airport. Ira wore a blue T-shirt and layered it with a white cardigan. On the other hand, Nupur looked dapper in a pink shirt, leather jacket and blue jeans.
For their wedding on January 10, Ira looked stunning in a white gown with intricate detailing. She wore her hair in a neat bun adorned with white flowers. Ira completed her look with red lipstick and statement earrings. On the other hand, Nupur looked dapper in a beige tuxedo.
