Akshay Kumar REACTS To Shikhar Dhawan's Emotional Post About His Son: 'Nothing More Painful Than...'
Akshay Kumar extends his support to Shikhar Dhawan after the cricketer emotionally opened up about not being able to meet his son.

Akshay Kumar reacted to Shikhar Dhawan’s emotional post which the cricketer wrote on his son’s birthday. Earlier this week, Shikhar expressed his heartbreak and disappointment over not being able to meet his son. The Bollywood actor extended his support to Shikhar. Akshay shared the post on his Instagram Stories and urged Shikhar to have faith as many are praying he reunites with his son.

“Really moved to see this post. As a father, I know that nothing is more painful than not being able to see or meet your child. Hausla rakh Shikhar (Have faith)…millions of us are praying for you to meet your son soon. God bless,” Akshay Kumar said, tagging Shikhar in the post.

Shikhar reposted the Story and thanked Akshay for his support. “Thanks pajhi for your blessings,” he wrote with a smiley and folded hands emoji. On Tuesday, Shikhar shared a screenshot of one of his video calls with his son and revealed it had been a year since he saw his son.

“It’s been a year since I saw you in person, and now, for almost three months, I’ve been blocked from everywhere so Posting the same picture to wish you, my boy, a very Happy Birthday. Even if I can’t connect with you directly, I connect with you through Telepathy. I am so proud of you, and I know you’re doing great and growing up nicely,” he said.

“Papa always misses you and loves you. He’s always positive, waiting with a smile for the time when we will meet again by the Grace of God. Be naughty but not destructive, be a giver, be humble, compassionate, patient, and strong. Despite not seeing you, I write you messages almost every day, asking about your well-being and daily life, sharing what I’m doing and what’s new in my life. Love you loads Zora,” the cricketer added.

For the unversed, Shikhar and his ex-wife Ayesha Mukherjee parted ways this October. The court granted the divorce to Shikhar on the ground of ‘cruelty’ inflicted on the cricketer by his ex-wife. The court granted mandatory visiting rights to Shikhar in India and Australia but he has not been able to even talk to him, leave alone meet him.
