However, things did not work out between the two and they separated. After this, Prateik Babbar started dating Priya Banerjee. They have been dating for three years now and made their relationship Instagram official on Valentine’s Day this year.
Interestingly, rumours are circulating that actor Prateik Babbar and his girlfriend Priya Banerjee have taken their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. According to a report from The Times of India, Prateik proposed to Priya on November 26th, just two days before his birthday last year. Instead of having a separate engagement ceremony, the couple has decided to combine it with their upcoming wedding.
In November, Priya Banerjee wished Prateik a happy birthday on November 28th through a joint Instagram post. The picture shows a tender moment with the couple sharing a kiss while Priya sits on Prateik’s lap.
In an earlier TOI interview, Prateik spoke about Priya and shared, “I am so blessed to have Priya. I have made so many mistakes, but I must have done something right for such a wonderful woman to come in my life.”
The actor revealed he was in the process of getting a divorce, and Priya had called off her engagement. He shared that he initiated contact with her through direct messages (DMs), initially hesitating because of his ongoing separation.
About his divorce from Sanya Sagar, had had added, “We thought we would figure out love and compatibility on our way. It doesn’t work like that. You need to figure out everything before. Emotional frustrations led to bad choices and decisions. I felt betrayed in my marriage. But if that marriage had not failed, I wouldn’t have met the woman in my life today.”
