Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are undoubtedly one of the most loved couples in BTown. They are also the most influential couples in showbiz and enjoy a massive fan following. With their ever growing stardom, the couple also endorse a lot of brands and are often seeing starring together for advertisements and TV commercials. Recently the actress revealed how much they charge for starring in ads together.
In an interview with The Week, Deepika was asked if they do charge separate rates for ads, brand endorsements and film for starring together, to which the actress answered they charge a premium. “Yes, we do charge a premium for when we come together. I think we are positioned quite uniquely. In that, there’s usually an imbalance in a power couple, but not with us. Plus, both of us have started from scratch and it’s something we are very proud of. To achieve success on merit and on one’s own terms makes us special.”
Deepika also revealed that she didn’t a charge a penny for her cameo appearances in her husband’s films ’83 and Cirkus. Deepika had an extended cameo in ’83, where she played Ranveer Singh’s wife. And in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus she starred in a special song with Ranveer.
Deepika Padukone has indeed come a long way in showbiz. She recently became the global ambassador of a luxury fashion brand. Speaking about the same, she shared, “I was at Cannes as a jury member. I was driving past the promenade and to my right was this huge LV store with my face staring right back at me. That’s when I realised what had really happened. Everything i had manifested for what more we could do as Indians came true.”
On the work front, Deepika recently had an extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. The actress will soon be seen in Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor. She also has Kalki 2898-AD with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas.
