Bollywood celebrities are currently on vacation and celebrating the new year. Some have shared photos and many are yet to share. Deepika Padukone also took to her social media and shared a photo showing the first sunrise of the year 2024. The actress has wished fans a happy new year. She has not mentioned the location.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Deepika showed sunrise while enjoying sitting on a cruise. We can hear the motor sound. For the caption, she has written, ‘Happy New Year 2024.” The actress also shared a wrap-up video in which she featured cherishable moments of 2023. The Fighter trailer is also there in the video.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film is set to transcend boundaries with its stellar cast and gripping storyline. Expectations from the actioner are pretty high as it marks the third collaboration between Siddharth and Hrithik, who have earlier delivered blockbusters like Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019).
The film’s release date is set for January 25, 2024, on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day.
In 2020, Deepika Padukone revealed that she would be producing the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood classic The Intern, which starred Robert Di Niro and Anne Hathaway, under her production house, KA Productions. The film was supposed to star Deepika alongside Rishi Kapoor. But following the latter’s demise, Amitabh Bachchan came aboard. Deepika took to social media in 2021 to announce the news. Both the actors had earlier shared screen space in Shoojit Sircar’s acclaimed film, Piku, where they played father and daughter.
For the unversed, the Hollywood slice-of-life dramedy had released in 2015. Rene Russo, Anders Holm, Andrew Rannells, Adam DeVine and Zack Pearlman also featured in it. The film is about a 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker, who applies for a senior intern at an online fashion site, after realising that he is not cut out for retirement. Anne played his boss in The Intern.
