On Wednesday, a fresh promotional video for the upcoming film Ganpath: A Hero Is Born, starring Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, was unveiled. The movie is slated for release on October 20, and advance ticket sales have already kickstarted.

Similar to the previously released trailer and teasers, the new promo spotlights the meticulously choreographed action sequences. These sequences have been directed by renowned Hollywood action stunt director Tim Man, recognised for his work in films such as Legacy Of Lies, Triple Threat, and Accident Man. Set in the year 2070 within a dystopian world, the film portrays Tiger Shroff’s character, Ganpath, as a saviour and the ‘chosen one.’ The latest promo primarily highlights the action-packed scenes. At one point, viewers witness an intense fistfight between Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, who portrays his romantic interest in the film, set against a breathtaking backdrop.

The filmmakers shot the majority of the action scenes in the picturesque landscapes of Ladakh. Director Vikas Bahl discussed the experience, saying that while many films have previously featured action scenes in Ladakh, they were fortunate to explore an entirely new terrain. “It was an abandoned town above Lamayuru where most sequences were shot. So yes, the weather conditions were unfriendly and erratic, with constant dips in oxygen levels. But Tiger, Kriti, and Rehman sir really practiced hard on days off as well as in between action scenes, in spite of the challenging weather conditions and low oxygen levels. Our base was far from the actual shoot locations, but the entire crew was very supportive and hands-on, as it was not easy shifting equipment, costumes, props, etc. from one terrain to another.”

Ganpath, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, is being produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Vikas Bahl. The film is set to be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
