Katrina Kaif Gives Epic Reply To Reporter Who Called Her 'Just A Glamour Doll' In Tiger 3 | Video

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif responded to a reporter who labeled her ‘just a glamour doll’ during the press conference for her upcoming film Merry Christmas. The actress was quite startled when the reporter stated that her portrayal of Zoya in Tiger 3 was more like ‘a glamour doll’. Katrina’s epic reply has now become the talk of the town.

During the press conference, a media personnel asked her what it’s like to play a ‘nuanced character,’ as opposed to ‘just a glamour role’ in Maneesh Sharma’s 2023 spy thriller Tiger 3.

“I see things a little differently, perhaps. I actually believe the character of Zoya is one of the strongest roles I’ve ever had the chance to play, especially in Tiger 3. It was so nuanced and well-written by Maneesh Sharma. I thoroughly enjoyed portraying that character,” Katrina said.

Coming back to Merry Christmas, Katrina will be sharing the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi. The trailer was widely loved by fans and critics. Helmed by filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, the movie is all set to hit the theatres on January 12. 

In an exclusive conversation with News18, Katrina opened up about her experience working with Vijay and Sriram. “I was extremely excited to be working with Sriram sir and Vijay sir. When we came together in a room, we came just as themselves and we instantly were able to connect. The minute Vijay sir started speaking about the scene, it was fascinating for me. I thought, ‘This is a person who views things in such a unique way.’ Sriram sir has a very unique take on everything he does including the way he sees stories and people. We came together to find a rhythm and our own way of working and bringing the script to life.”

At the same event, Vijay also spoke about his experience of collaborating with Katrina and remarked, “I never thought that I would work with Katrina Kaif. I am a big fan of her and the first day when I met her, I was very happy to see her but at the same time couldn’t express myself. She was a very thoughtful actor who has a lot of questions to ask. She is a very dedicated actor and at the same time very adaptable. She puts in a lot of effort with a lot of sensibility to make a scene better. Katrina is not just beautiful but also sensible.”
