With his choice of films at the beginning of his career, Ranbir Kapoor established himself as a ‘ladies’ man’ and a ‘chocolate boy’ in Bollywood. He has been a part of many blockbuster love stories and has amassed a huge fan following for his charming demeanour. An old video of the actor has gone viral on Reddit in which he spoke about the reason behind this image.
While promoting Barfi, Illeana D’Cruz and Priyanka Chopra were asked if Ranbir was charming on set. Ileana said, “I think he’s extremely charming, I really do. But he’s unbelievably focused when it comes to his work. You know, the whole ladies’ man image is very hyped when it comes to Ranbir.”

Ranbir said, “You know, it’s only because of that film Bachna Ae Haseeno that I did. That image has stuck. Maybe I’ve not done a…’ Priyanka Chopra said, “The think about RK, I mean we’ve done two films together and he’s a friend of mine and we kinda know each other like that.”
“He’s somebody who’s real, he’s funny, he’s entertaining and that’s I guess charming for girls maybe. He doesn’t try to impress you, he’s not trying. I’ve seen him at work, like, I’ve seen him doling around and we’ve kinda… so I understand that about him. He’s just a fun guy,” he added.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. The film became a massive blockbuster hit. He has recently signed Love and War with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film will be directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and as per reports, will not be a signature Bhansali period drama.
